Active Hub is Booking.com meets TripAdvisor, built for South African sport. Players book courts, fields, lanes and lessons in seconds. Venues and coaches get a full diary. And reviews only come from people who actually played.

No phone calls, no WhatsApp groups, no guessing if the court is free. Three taps and you are on.

Search by sport, area and time, or just ask in plain words. See live availability, the real price and reviews from people who played there.

Pick a slot, split the cost with friends, add last minute deals and weekly repeats. Pay by card, EFT or QR, and your ticket lands on WhatsApp.

Join open games at your level, build a crew with streaks, book a coach, and if rain stops play you move your game free. Then rate it.
Everyone who touches a game in South Africa, in one place, each with their own home.
Free to use. The whole country's courts, fields, lanes and coaches in your pocket.
Clubs, courts, pitches, pools, gyms and studios list their bookable spaces and fill the empty slots.
Any coach in any sport gets a verified profile, a diary and upfront payment.
48 sports at launch, and growing. Filter by family, or just scroll and find your game.
A sport on Active Hub is just a line of data. When pickleball takes off, an admin adds it in 60 seconds and every venue and coach in the country can list it the same day.
Most booking apps hard code "tennis court" or "padel court". Active Hub never knows what a sport is in code. A sport is a row in a table that points at a space template, lists the booking modes it supports, and the details players filter on.
This is the TripAdvisor half, done properly. On Active Hub you can only review what you booked and played.
Every review is tied to a paid, completed booking. Venues can reply in public, but never delete.
Each template rates what matters: court condition and lighting for courts, safety and coaching for surf schools.
Players earn a score from show ups. Venues get one too. High scores unlock pay later and member prices.
A taste of the courts, clubs and spots in the prototype. Sample venues, shown to give the feel.
Verified coaches with diaries, upfront payment and student progress built in.
Proposed numbers, to be tested with real venues and coaches before launch. Nothing here is final.
Free to use. A small fee per booking covers payment processing on cheap bookings. That is it.
Pay only on bookings Active Hub brings. You only pay when we fill a slot that would have stayed empty.
A flat, small fee to be listed. Pro at R349. First month free. We never take a cut of your session.
Run your whole booking sheet, walk ins and members on Active Hub. 0% on your own regulars.
Illustrative only. Every price above is an assumption to validate with the first venues and coaches.
Card, Instant EFT and QR wallets like SnapScan, all in rand. Split payments by WhatsApp link, because the friend who books always ends up chasing everyone else.
Confirmations, reminders, pay links and rebooking all land on WhatsApp, where South Africans already are. Email is the backup, not the main channel.
A backup power filter for floodlit venues, and a promise: if rain, an outage or a closure stops your game, you rebook free or get your money back.
Fast on a mid range phone and a slow connection. Only the data we need, clear consent, and South African hosting for player data where possible.
Open the working demo right now in your browser, or scan to run it full screen on your phone like the real app.
Not yet. This is a working prototype: a clickable app, this website and a blueprint we use to pitch the first venues and coaches. The venues, coaches, prices and reviews you see are sample data to show the feel.
The plan is to launch in Cape Town with padel, tennis and coaches, where demand is dense and venues compete for evening slots. Then Johannesburg and Durban, adding sports city by city. The engine already supports 48 sports.
Listing is free. A venue pays 8% only on the bookings Active Hub brings in, so you only pay when we fill a slot that would have stayed empty. Busy clubs can run their whole diary on Hub Desk for a flat monthly fee, with 0% on their own regulars.
No. Coaches keep 100% of their session price. There is only a small flat monthly fee to be listed, with the first month free. That is the main difference from platforms that take a percentage of every lesson.
Because every review is tied to a paid, completed booking. No booking, no review. Venues can reply in public but can never delete a review. Players and venues both build a reliability score over time.
You rebook free or get your money back. There is a backup power filter for floodlit venues, and a rain alert that lets you move your game at no cost.
